I offer photography services throughout Vancouver Island. By request, I also travel to the Gulf Islands and the Lower Mainland of BC.
All portrait sessions include generous shooting time with no rigid time constraints, as well as delivery of your finished high-resolution images through a private online gallery for downloading and sharing.
Package prices are meant to guide you toward a session that will fit your needs - but there is always room for customization. From add-ons like black background fine art portraits or multiple locations, to "mini sessions" (perfect for barn friends or groups of families who all want a few photos), we can get creative together and form a custom session just for you.
Additional travel fees apply outside 60km from Ladysmith, Vancouver Island BC.

These photoshoots focus on creating intimate and genuine portraits of you and your horse(s), showcasing your partnership and your interactions together. 30 or more images.
$450 + gst for groups larger than 2 horses and/or 2 humans.

These photoshoots focus on creating a variety of images of your horse alone to reveal their unique character. In halter, in bridle, and at liberty can be included. Showcase your horse's best features, and turn them into timeless art. 20 or more images.

FAQ
What if I'm uncomfortable in front of the camera?
If you want to feel relaxed during your photoshoot, and look genuine in your photos, then I'm the photographer for you. Portrait sessions don’t need to be stressful. Like most people, I don't love being in front of the camera - but I do value keeping memories alive through photos, and having a professional capturing those memories delivers incredible results.
How do we overcome this in a photoshoot? Well, I also understand that it is much more enjoyable to have your photo taken when you can get out into nature, and interact authentically with your loved ones and the beauty around you, without worrying about time limitations or posing. That's why I make my shoots casual and unstructured. I will give you guidance to make sure that we're capturing the right moments, but ultimately, those moments are the ones where I see you being your authentic self with your family, your pet, or your horse.
Where are you based and do you travel?
I'm based in Ladysmith on Vancouver Island in British Columbia, Canada. I'm lucky enough to live in one of the most beautiful locations in the world.
I travel all over the island (and surrounding islands) for photography, as well as over to the Lower Mainland or to the Sunshine Coast. Travel fees may apply for some locations.
Is Vancouver Island a good place to get married?
If you're looking to elope, or host an intimate wedding, Vancouver Island or one of the surrounding Gulf Islands is the absolute perfect place to do it. My husband and I lived in the Fraser Valley when we eloped on Vancouver Island, and that experience is part of why we live here today! We fell in love with the dramatic coastline, misty old-growth forests, and rugged mountain peaks, where the wild Pacific ocean meets serene lakes and waterfalls. It creates a vibe that feels both untamed and deeply peaceful.
There are countless options for stunning wedding locations here - from small private venues, to incredible restaurants, to secluded beaches and forests. If you need a Vancouver Islander to help you plan your elopement, or find a venue for your intimate wedding, I'm happy to help!
What are Equine Professional Branding shoots?
I've been working as an Equine Therapist for 10 years. Something I have learned is that professional branding photos create a strong first impression, visually communicate your personality and values, and help build trust with potential clients. High-quality images make your business look polished and credible. But they need to be the right photos - and most photographers don't appreciate exactly what you're trying to convey as an equine bodyworker, saddle fitter, coach, farrier, or other equine practitioner.
